About this model

My wife and I play in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), where she is known as The Honourable Lady Elspeth Selwode. One of her passions is largesse (crafted items gifted to our royalty, who then give it as gifts to other royals when they travel or host them, and to the populace): organizing it, making it, and teaching others to make it. Among her most popular largesse items, whether as finished products, as DIY kits, or as a class, has been felt pincushions, built around a pop- or pill bottle cap and decorated with embroidery and/or woven trim. To facilitate her efforts and those of her students, I whipped up these templates in TinkerCAD. The 32mm size works with a standard 2L pop bottle cap; the 38mm size works with a typical over-the-counter pill bottle cap (we used a Kirkland 2…
