The Intel Space Capsule is a free printable 3D model from MyMiniFactory by Maximilian N. I really liked the Intel Space Capsule design they send to numerous youtubers / reviewers for the Haswell-E (5960x) and PCI-E SSD release. You can download the STL file from the original listing below and print it at home.
About this model
I really liked the Intel Space Capsule design they send to numerous youtubers / reviewers for the Haswell-E (5960x) and PCI-E SSD release. I contacted Intel, if it was possible for "normal people" to get one - but they said no (at least the answered). So I sat down and designed my own version - which is not 100% accurate, but will do the job. My first plan was to make a design to fit a Micro-ATX Mainboard, and put Prusa i3 z-axis internal inside to open and close the lid - due to cost and size (450x450x700mm) reasons, this project is on ice right now - so I share with you a 25% scale model for 5mm LEDs - I hope you enjoy!
