About this model

This replaces the OEM lens hood for my 100-400 OM Systems Lens. I was tired of mounting and unmounting the existing hood and this slides the hood out of the way. It consists of an inner sleeve which mounts to the lens, a hood that slides over the sleeve and a locking ring which prevents the hood from sliding off its mounts. The hood is held in place by rare earth magnets.
