About this model
Avia Sakeen built by the Czechs from Bf-109G-14 airframes for the Israelis. Power comes from a 1,060-hp Junkers 12-cylinder engine driving a 3-bladed variable-pitch propeller with large paddle blades. Disliked by pilots from both countries because of its lousy flight characteristics, made worse if the aircraft was equipped with gun pods. Still managed to net a couple kills against Egyptian, Syrian, and British Spitfires, though. Armament consists of: 2x 13mm machine guns in the nose. 2x 7.92mm machine guns in the wings (S-99) 2x 20mm cannon in underwing gun pods (S-199)
